Blogging

You can contribute to our blog! If you have an interest and passion in Middle Eastern politics, then send us a sample piece (400 words max.) about your thoughts and experiences of the region. We understand that not all contributors may want to have their name published with their work, so we do also accept anonymous contributions that support our values and goals. If you're interested in the Israeli - Palestinian conflict and would like to talk about it, learn more, speak to experts, and hear from Israeli and Palestinian people, then join one or more of our online programmes! We have a different special guest each month, and there's no prior experience or knowledge necessary.

The Solutions Not Sides online  programme on Israel-Palestine aims to provide young people and students interested in the conflict with a range of engaging material and a forum in which to discuss various key issues faced by the region in more depth. The programmes take the format of one or two hour sessions, in which up to 10 students from around the world, as well as an Israeli and Palestinian peace activist, will meet on Google Hangouts to debate the issue or topic of the month, and discuss the various articles and essays participants will have read prior to the session.

The sessions are for students aged 15+ and you do not need any prior knowledge of the conflict to participate in of the sessions - everyone is welcome!

We run 1 session each month, and they usually take the form of Google Hangout sessions focusing on a different topic each month, with a different guest speaker. More information on our 2017-2018 guest speakers will be released soon.
